A FINKS bikie charged with attempted murder will face trial over a suburban street shooting in Robina.
Police have alleged Robert "Robbie" Corowa, of Banora Point, shot his ex-girlfriend's new lover outside a Cedarwood Crescent home on November 26, 2011 in an attack of jealousy.
Corowa, a known NSW Fink, was supported in the Southport Magistrates Court today by bikies as he was committed to stand trial in the Supreme Court of Brisbane.
A group of heavily tattooed friends packed the back of the courtroom as alleged shooting victim Marko Marjanovic gave evidence during the committal hearing.
Mr Marjanovic told police and the court he didn't see the face of his attacker and could not identify anyone in a police photo board.
Corowa was arrested three months after the incident when mother Snezana Marjanovic recognised her son's alleged attacker at a Gold Coast service station.
Both she and her son gave evidence in the committal hearing and were shielded by police as they left the courthouse.
Corowa is expected to be indicted in the Supreme Court early next year.
