A GOLD Coast bikie remains in custody charged with allegedly firing a gun inside a taxi, and attacking two drivers and a police officer.
Leonard Toalei, 25, was arrested after an alleged violent rampage on the Gold Coast last month.
Police say he is a member of the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang.
He was to appear by video link today in Southport Magistrates Court, but did not face court.
Officers claim Mr Toalei fired two shots inside a taxi at Marine Parade, Southport, before embarking on a series of violent assaults.
They say he was in the back of the taxi with at least one other passenger when he opened fire.
The taxi driver was not hit and when he pulled his cab over the gunman fled and assaulted a milk truck driver, stealing his vehicle before crashing it.
It's alleged Mr Toalei later assaulted a bus driver, who required hospital treatment for his injuries.
Police said they had to taser the suspect in a dangerous arrest in which he assaulted a police dog and its handler.
Mr Toalei remains in custody and will return to southport court on september 5.
