A SENIOR Gold Coast bikie charged with bashing a lifeguard has been arrested for the third time in six weeks, this time over a home invasion in which he allegedly assaulted a 64-year-old woman.
Black Uhlans outlaw motorcycle gang member sergeant-at-arms Liborio Di Vita was arrested on Wednesday by officers from the Coast's new anti-bikie squad, Taskforce Vanguard.
He was taken to the Southport watch-house where he was being charged with eight offences including serious assault, threatening violence and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Police say the charges relate to an alleged home invasion at Reedy Creek in January this year when Di Vita allegedly stormed a house and bashed a man. The man's mother was allegedly assaulted after trying to intervene.
Last month, Di Vita was charged over the bashing of Gold Coast City Council lifeguard Phil Gregory on North Burleigh beach on May 21.
It is alleged Mr Gregory was assaulted after ordering Di Vita's girlfriend not to walk her dog through the red and yellow flagged area.
Di Vita was later re-arrested after allegedly driving to Broadbeach police station as part of his reporting conditions, despite having his licence disqualified.
He is expected to face Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Taskforce Vanguard is a special unit formed this month to crack down on outlaw bikies.
The squad, comprising officers from the Coast's Major and Organised Crime Squad and Taskforce Hydra bikie unit, blitzed the Rebels clubhouse at Nerang last weekend.
